Mumbai Hopes of Shangai!!give me a Break

It was a bright thursday morning,i was little happy since there is no college today . why? bcoz mumbai is going to BMC polls .If we vote today in numbers it is going to make sure we are going to pick the best corporator to run the BMC(Brihan mumbai municipal corporation) .all the news channels have elite panels advicing the youth of this city to go out there and vote .while i sip my coffee in the morning reading the newspapers, i m setting up my mind. alright cowboy,u gotta make a difference to ur city .how do u do it??go out there and vote .thats it!!yeah thats it. okay now i am going to vote and i am serious about it .alright before i step out of my house,i just tried checkin out what the news channels are saying .

NEWSFLASH:-Governor of Mharashtra S.M KRISHNA's name is not listed in the BMC voter's list .ROADBLOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Okay now,i was wondering all the time in the morning that i need to stand in the queue there and vote for the best party .thats it as easy as that .But it aint that easy and they dont want it to be easy for anybody .

Here we go this is India and i was wondering, if it was that easy for a local to vote and create a difference to the society .My mind immediately recalled that i had filled up the form for the voters ID card the year i turned 18 and i am yet to recieve it .

so i dont get to vote inspite of living my entire life in this city.what difference am i going to make!!the matter to laugh about here is that even the top people of the state like governor S.M.Krishna cant find his name in the voters list after almost his tenure coming to an end , Preity Zinta with a broom in her hand saying,Go and vote on the cover of Mumbai mirror newspaper(waste of her effort to write an editorial to encourage the youth) .

why do these people waste precious air time and newslines of papers before checking the basics right .its so pathetic,i am disgusted and feel sorry to say i dont care.

hey,dont blame the youth when there is going to be a hung assembly for being indifferent .i sincerely wanted raj thackeray to win this polls but i am wondering if it is possible . meanwhile i am going to figure out if there is still a chance to vote without a voters id(we wont let our city and country down that easily!!)god bless this beautiful city and its ppl!!Amen
