Rainy season officially takes off !!!

Yesterday folks in mumbai experienced the first heavy showers of the season ,it was truly unbelievable with water seeping through the closed window panes and winds howling and gushing with a constant feeling that made me feel our neighbor was in arm's with his wife . it was a big relief after a scorching summer season .

But just in 24 hrs time the economic hub of India was paralyzed and was cut from the rest of the cuntry and more importantly as usual the ppl living in different suburbs of the city were stranded on roads!!!Funny incident that came out of this was the 500 ppl who had gone to a famous theme park in mumbai named as ESSEL WORLD were left behind in the theme park coz it was too dangerous for the ferry service to return back from the city to pick them up !!! wow,i wish i had been there with my loved one then ask why , coz it would have been a ball of time (ahem...) though with increased political interference there is some kind of new policing called as MORAL POLICING so i therefore erase any such creative thoughts .well such creative thoughts do tend to arise due to rains!!!

No but seriously,i just feel pity for those who have been stranded on road's or their home's flooded coz there is tremendous amount of revenue being generated by the city thru it's high profle residents (like Anil & mukesh bhai,India's richest brother's ,amitabh bachan - biggest tax payer of our country, then u have shahrukh, godrej, bajaj, piramal's just to name a few) and yet the govt cant find a solution to the city's outstanding problem .

actually i analyzed the issue and it does not require Einstein's brain to know that Kurla which connects central line to the harbour line is a low lying area and if it's drainage is upgraded then half of the issue is resolved . Besides there is King circle, sion and parel mumbai's very famous low lying area's which have a history of flooding and this year it is no different .

But the problem is not that easy to solve coz these r the main inhibitors of slum's in the city and when u have million's living here and protesting and obstructing development, then i dont think any govt would be able to solve this problem .all i would say is it is going be to be another tough rainy season for all mumbaikar's !!!Enjoy
